Business and Employees
Let’s see which categories of employees are causing business failure
01 POOR PERFORMANCE
They are those who do not do what the employee was expected to do and become lazy. By not having the productivity and efficiency they need during their working hours, the business will fail. In this way, employees can increase their performance by including incentives along with salary to avoid laziness.
02 LACK OF ACCOUNTABILITY
They are not ready to take responsibility. Such people will not take any responsibility in the assigned work. They are the ones who blame others even for the problems caused by them and create problems with customers and other employees. It is best to put such people out of business as soon as possible.
03 LACK OF ENGAGEMENT
They show lack of interest in the assigned work. They spend most of their working time talking to other employees or spending time on their mobile phones. What needs to be done is to make them more busy at work. Targets should be set for the same and rewards should be fixed accordingly.
04 POOR COMMUNICATION
They are reluctant to communicate effectively with colleagues or managers. Such people will not be ready to communicate clearly even about the needs of their jobs. These types of employees are responsible for many misunderstandings, delays and financial losses in the business. By identifying such people and giving them good training, they can be replaced. These types of people are generally mild-mannered and therefore hard to spot. As such people do not complain, they are known as good people in business. But it should be recognized that these are the ones who bring losses in the business.
05 UNETHICAL BEHAVIOR
They will be involved in fraud or other unethical activities. These people will not give any human consideration to others. Management, other employees and customers will always have a bad experience from such people. It is better to keep such people out of business.
06 RESISTANCE TO CHANGE
These are the employees who do not accept the changes that time brings in the business. They will oppose things like computerizing the organization. They are afraid of new changes. If such people try to overcome their opposition and bring about changes, they will be willing to do any kind of bad deeds to make these changes not good. Therefore, we should try to bring changes in business only after finding such people and creating awareness and changing their thinking. Otherwise they will cause financial and operational problems in the business.
These are the people who exaggerate the work experience they don’t have and get a job. But after that they will not be able to deal effectively with the work to be done. If such people are not found quickly, there will be huge losses in the business. As such people lack expertise or training and make mistakes and delays, there is a high chance of customers leaving the business and causing huge financial losses to the business. The way is to train such people and turn them into experts.
The reality is that a business is not a do-it-yourself thing. But if there is no system in place to regularly monitor and evaluate the employees who are brought into the business, these employees themselves can become business losers.
